Seems like the cake decorator is always “out of town” whenever someone orders a cake. Absolutely ridiculous. Placed an order. Called when it was close for pick up. The lady goes “did I not call you yesterday?” Nope. Ya didn’t. Absolutely ridiculous they couldn’t have a basic cake ready with TWO colors and no writing. They also canceled my son’s cake THE DAY OF his party a few years ago bc the decorator was “out of town” AGAIN. They need to close this bakery down. Or at least stop accepting orders you can’t fulfill.
Literally in tears as I drive away from Kroger without a birthday cake for my son. Tried to make an order a week and a half ahead of time. Was told that was too early. So I came back on Friday before his Sunday birthday party and placed an order. Walk in on Sunday, a few hours before his party. They haven’t made my cake due to the baker being out of town. Now I have no cake for my son. Absolutely heartbreaking.
