Update part two: Our driveway has cracks and is spalling everywhere. This is due to a poor mix during installation. We did not use any salt on the driveway. They refuse to fix the issue. So if you’re looking for using this builder, buyer beware. Update: I hope so. 43 degrees in the bathroom linen is not right either. If this is addressed, I will update this review accordingly. About 2–3 years ago, I hired this company to build a house on my property in Iowa. Unfortunately, after moving in, I experienced many serious issues with the quality of the construction. Problems included electrical issues, HVAC problems, leaking gutters, bathroom water leaks, toilet venting problems causing bad odors, toilets leaking water onto the bathroom floor creating unsanitary and unpleasant conditions, damaged siding, foundation issues, and even the driveway/entrance area beginning to sink and crack over time. We had an overall positive experience buying are spec home from KRM. After closing there were some call backs and these were dealt with and to our satisfaction. However, we did run into one issue after moving in. The floating concrete patio rose during the past two winters due to frost heaving, and the one corner ended up cracking after coming into contact with a post. (See photo).
