I was concerned about my 50 year old weeping birch that had dried leaves that seemed to form over the course of a week. Kevin came out and gave me valuable information about trees in general and especially about my tree. Due to our dry conditions and water restrictions last year my water hungry tree was parched! We spent an enjoyable, informative and valuable hour-plus with Kevin and came away with a much better understanding of the trees we have and what kinds of trees would be best suited for our yard (along with tips on where and how to plant, how to help them thrive). He also showed us some quick pruning lessons - and turned a straggly tree into something much more respectable. Highly recommend Kevin for his knowledge and personable, engaging approach!
We had a fantastic experience working with Kevin to address replacement of our dead trees within the constraints of our challenging yard. Kevin took the time to really understand and what we hoped to achieve and explain possible options. He has an amazing wealth of knowledge on trees and local conditions, and was fascinating to talk to. He also brought great reference books to show us photos. We appreciate his expertise and friendly personality.
I invested an hour with Kevin initially about treatment options for two of my mature trees - one with a bark problem and the other the cedar-apple rust. Once we had those priorities covered, Kevin shared guidance and information about all of our current trees and shrubs, tree growth, best practices, watering schedules, and more.
