Today, my husband and I visited for lunch and ordered Vijayawada Chicken Biryani. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with the food. The chicken did not seem fresh; it had a bad smell and tasted sour. Because of this, I experienced stomach upset after eating. I normally avoid Indian restaurants on weekdays because food quality can sometimes be inconsistent, but on Thursday we decided to have dinner at Kritunga with family. We ordered Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Vijayawada Special Biryani. The Butter Chicken had excessive coloring, and the chicken quality in both dishes was disappointing. If you are from India, you will NOT enjoy this restaurant. I went with my family yesterday. Every dish we ordered was sub par. Even my husband, who is always very positive, felt the same. I recommend going to other Indian restaurants in Schaumburg if you are really craving good Indian food.
Went here for the weekend buffet and to my surprise it is quite delicious. I would definitely recommend this place, even though it's tucked away in the mall. Buffet is a bit pricey but the quality of the food makes up for it. The BOGO biryanis on Tuesdays are extremely worth, since portions are huge for what you're paying, if you're fan of it.
