I had an outpatient surgery (Laser Lithotripsy) done by Mr. Whitehead at Thomas hospital. I don’t even remember leaving the hospital. I fell several times after being released. After following up several times with his office and staff, I found out he didn’t put in a stint on a 10mm kidney stone. A family member had to take me to the ER a few days after outpatient surgery and I was admitted immediately due to my kidney being nicked and I was bleeding out. Dr Whitehead is exceptional in patient communication and knowledge, and takes extraordinary time to explain procedures and diagnoses.
