Dr. Lyon communicates at a level you can understand. He is thorough with showing you what creates your spinal issues and what your options are. He also ensures you understand your plan of care. I would encourage you not to be just another patient in DFW area, be a patient at Hendrick Medical Center with Dr. Lyon. I have not, nor am I employed by Hendrick Medical Center and have no reason to boast about Dr. Lyon other than to share with others an option that’s as good, if not better, than DFW area.
I would not recommend this doctor for any female that has had kids. He just automatically said that's what my back pain is from regardless that my kids are grown and I didn't have back problems til 2011

Dr Lyon’ is so knowledgeable as a neurosurgeon. When I was told I needed surgery. I researched to find the best local surgeon. He is in demand so surgery wait time is lengthy, but I was willing to wait for the best. His staff is very kind. He completely studied my chart and MRI before my appointment. I felt as if he knew my case.
