Dr. Markell is a GIFT to women and Northwest Arkansas!!! She listens carefully, she is extremely knowledgeable about women and their Menopausal health!! I encourage any woman that thinks she might be in PeriMenopause or Menopause to make an appointment with Dr. Markell as soon as possible!
Finally! A doctor who spends time listening to you. The detailed in-take form asks questions I hadn't thought were “issues” - but rather just weird things happening with aging. I've had a great experience working with the practice for more than a year now. They are responsive and quick to help. The cost is worth it for the custom level of personal care you get that you cannot get anywhere else. Furthermore, the doctor is very knowledgeable, staying up to date on current research, and empathetic every time we talk.
I started seeing Dr. Markell nearly 1 year ago when I was about to have a full hysterectomy. I worked through the hormonal harmony program, paying over $2,000 since insurance isn't accepted. I was very impressed with the depth of discussion but didn't really use any other items. Library, monthly calls, nutritional info, etc, as those are areas I am quite comfortable in.
