I've been going to this office for many years and at my most recent appointment, I was disturbed by multiple things. I'll start by saying that Dr. Delahanty is outgoing and competent and the office staff were friendly. I am working through multiple health concerns with doctors, both conventional and functional. I mentioned that I also go to a functional medicine practice and I could feel her judgement and disagreement through her tone and questions she asked about it. I wouldn't trust my gynecological needs to anyone else!
Let me start by saying Dr Delahanty is great!! I had a great experience at my visit and the office environment was very friendly. However Kelly, the doctors nurse was very rude to me on the phone upon trying to receive help with personal info. The Social Security office has asked for me to provide a letter from my doctor stating that I am a current patient and that my name is correct; due to the fact that the DMV changed my last name without sending me to the SS office first after getting married. I’m really just disappointed as I had been a happy patient of Dr Delahanty for a very long time. She’s seen me through so much and was my first gynecologist and I continued to follow her from office to office for any of my appointments as they relocated. However I started presenting with pain years ago and was treated as if I was fine. Finally I pushed hard enough and was told “fine I’ll do the surgery” in reference to an endometriosis diagnosis.
