I have been very satisfied and happy with my medical care at Bellin Health in Seymour. In particular I really like Kristen Collar. Kristen has been my care giver for the past three years and is professional, knowledgeable, is a great listener and explains things in a way I can understand. Kristan Collar takes a progressive approach for treatment, she has moved my type 2 diabetes to acceptable readings, and patiently brought my blood pressure under control, whole team is caring, thorough and professional. They called me at home to check on my progress when diagnosed with Covid. Pleased to have the clinic in Seymour, very convenient short wait time and unhurried diagnosis.
Disappointing
A non-controlled (ie non-addictive) medicine prescribed by Ms Collar’s family medicine partner was requested to be refilled on a Friday but was apparently refused, the reason for this remains unclear. Unfortunately, I was not made aware of this until I ran out on Sunday. At first I was told they could not help me. Addendum: finally got what I requested after 2 hours, but had to tell them that I am a doctor and remind them of the potential legal consequences of their actions, before I received proper assistance.
