My husband scheduled an annual wellness visit in person with Dr. Seymour. The office called and asked if it could be changed to virtual to which my husband agreed. Following the visit we received a bill. When calling the office to dispute the bill, they were terrible to work with. They argued that Dr. Seymour told my husband switching to a telehealth visit would change the visit type from an annual wellness to a regular visit so insurance wouldn’t cover it. Great listener, very responsive and has helped me tremendously in the short time I've been seeing her.
I went to see Dr. Seymour in October of 2021 for my annual wellness visit and I was surprised when I received a bill. It is now April of 2022 and I am still disputing the bill. I have not been able to get any clarification on why I am being billed. Every time I call the office someone says they will call me back and I never receive a call back. I never mentioned any concerns during my visit and should not have been billed for anything. Will not be going back.
She is very friendly and listens to her patients. She detailly explains each step and lab outcomes immediatialy when they are available. She is experienced and lovely. I look forward for our next appointment. I will definetely recommend her.
I definitely would not recommend this doctor. I had my physical in November 2019, and during the physical she asked me if I had any concerns. I brought up a couple of concerns, which she referred me out for. My insurance was billed for a regular physical, covered 100% by insurance. In June 2020, I got a follow up bill from the doctor. Apparently the doctor filed an adjusted billing with my insurance, because I brought up concerns during my physical, changing it from a regular physical to an "in-office visit," which was no lo... read more
