I usually see PA Lamoure if Dr. Steffy is booked but things have gone so well seeing PAL that I prefer seeing her now. If need be, she consults with Dr.S so it's like seeing 2 care givers. PAL is very caring and knowledgeable every time I see her, so that's why I gave her 5 stars.
Dr. Steffy is a wonderful family practice doctor and her ability to treat the whole person and then follow that up with her recommendations to specialty doctors is what makes her so special. Whether it is orthopedics, pulmonary, or any of the other specialties she is the core doctor we were looking for.
Having just moved to the area, both my wife and I were looking for a family practice office. A friend of ours recommended Dr. Steffy and are we glad we they did. Once the paper work and records arrived from our previous medical team in Virginia, she and her staff wasted no time in getting us in for initial appointments and follow-up. One of the best things about her practice is just how well she is connected to other doctors in the area so referrals were quick and and easy.
Our visit was our first visit to establish our selves as patients with Dr. Steffy's office. Her staff from the folks manning the front desk to the MA's/nurses and finally Dr. Steffy herself were patient and professional. We were met with a friendly smile and generally felt her practice was the one we would keep.
Scheduled a visit for consultation and establish primary care physician - as soon as I got insurance coverage. Discussed pre-existing concerns. Dr Steffy was thorough, discussed my baseline health profile, concerns and proposed plan of cation including further consultations with specialist doctors for a pre-existing concern.
