This Krist Oil location consistently closes 30 minutes to an hour early every night, which is incredibly frustrating—especially when you make the trip expecting them to be open. There’s nothing worse than driving out of your way for gas, only to find the station closed when it should still be operating. Not only is it inconvenient, but it also wastes time and gas. Filled up on the way to Houghton. Clean and modern pumps. This station also has a diesel pump island for commercial trucks. Did not go into the store. Non-E gas is a bit more expensive here compared to stations further south. Price for regular gas was comparable to stations in L’Anse or Baraga.
