This place always closes 2 hours before its listed hours not sure why but its very frustrating since this is the only gas station close to where I am staying for work currently.
The black haired lady working in chassell at noon on 1/14/26 is completely rude and incompetent. Would not recommend stopping here unless you are looking for zero satisfaction
At least the 10th time it was closed unexpectedly. This place is infuriating.
Good help must be hard to find with the bare minimum pay, guess you pay for what you get. The owner should be ashamed of himself for treating his customers this way. Can’t be really a convenience store when under staffed and they close up to 2 hours early daily. Poorly ran businesses slowly drive people away. I will gladly take my business elsewhere even though I’ll have to drive farther. My heart goes out to what employees that they have knowing they have to “slave” to make ends meet and always ran ragged.
All 3 stores (Chassell, Houghton on 41, & Houghton in town) have info on Google that they are open til 10pm on Wednesday nights, but they were all 3 closed by 8pm. Plus, the short, dark haired woman that works both Chassell and Houghton on the highway, she is NOT good for the business ess when it is open. She is frequently outside smoking and will NOT come i side if a customer er goes inside until she is done with her cigarette. And when you walk by her to go inside she will not speak.
