Dr. Swaminathin is one of the best according to all the nurses at the hospital and I agree. He has done several surgeries on me and he is very caring and easy to talk to and understand. He doesn't talk down to you, just puts it plainly. I recommend him.
Dr Swaminathan was very thorough regarding my husband's carotid artery surgery. Went over every risk, no matter how high or low the risk was. He also told us about possible short term side effects and what to expect for the 2 months following the surgery. The only downside to this was his office failed to call us the day before and let us know what time to be at the hospital. It's hard to review a Doctor because I am not one so I can't critique what they do. What I can do is tell you that this man performed a very difficult surgery on me and I came through with no complications and am on the road to recovery. I can also tell you that everyone of the doctors, nurses, and staff at HCA Ocala Regional Hospital praised him and told me he was the very best. Great doctor, very nice staff.
Dr. Swarminathan is a very kind and caring doctor. He treated my mom when she was in the hospital. Months later when she wanted her tube removed. He called me HIMSELF. He remembered her and asked how she was doing. She was very worried about having the tube removed but he put her at ease. He genuinely cares about his patients and it shows.
