Thought it was a great experience, my back was right where we started a month after surgery once I was off the pain meds. I would have been eligible for an artificial disc replacement had he declined to perform my laminectomy. I have been with an attending neurosurgeon with Dartmouth Hitchcock now. He looked over the MRI taken after my surgery that Khanna said didn't show much and that my back was a mess from arthritis but he was sure I could find another surgeon if I looked hard enough.
