The shop worker was very rude. Their scales are off or they purposely change the weight. I weighed copper before I went in and when I got to the office to get my money the slip said it was 22 lbs lighter than it should have been. I weighed it on 2 different scales before I went in so I know. I will not be going there again and I advise anyone else to be careful. Let me start by saying this scrap yard in the past has been fair and helpful. However, the past two times I’ve went here the guy in the garage has been rude and condescending. The first time I brought some converters and he said it wasn’t worth their time. This past time I brought some tin, aluminum: cans, dirty, and insulated wire, #2 copper, steel unprepared and prepared.
