The people who run Hampshire House Apartments (VALARIA SEPULVEDA & RAUL) are among the most incompetent people I have met. The so-called “Building Manager” at Hampshire House is really only the guy who fixes toilets and paints vacated apartments and appears to have no administrative or management authority. The biggest mistake of my life was moving to Hampshire House Apartments. Loud and disruptive tenants stomping overhead, loud music playing at all hours of the night, and tenants with barking dogs make it impossible when you have to sleep. The building Leasing manager Valaria Sepulveda who's only job seems to be constantly shoving threating notices under tenants' doors, she is rude and very unprofessional when dealing with tenants, especially the elderly tenants. Northfield Townhouses is a wonderful place to live!! It's the best kept secret in West Orange. They are so far from your typical apartment and it's refreshing. The units are like small houses! Three floors with a finished basement and a laundry room! The property is like going on a small hike, versus walking through an apartment complex.. The biggest mistake of my life was moving to Hampshire House Apartments. Loud and disruptive tenants make the place as noisy as a college dorm. The building is banged up. Increasingly, dirt is allowed to accumulate in the public spaces. The laundry rooms are a reason to shudder. The incessant groan of the elevator moving from floor to floor reverberates through the walls day and night. Building maintenance is slipshod and performed by handymen, not licensed professionals. I highly recommend this place I lived there from 2016 until 2021. Im moving out of the state otherwise I would still live there. Management is excellent and if there's anything that needs to be fixed there on top of it. Friendly neighbors and two blocks from the beach you can't beat it.
