Food was tasty and the portion sizes were good. Tried the marathi thali which was good as well. But the food was far too expensive for its value. This place lies about the menu prices. Every dish is actually 22% more expensive due to service fee. Instead of reflecting this fee + price on the menu item, it is added on the bottom. If the place required 22% additional fee, just bump all the prices on your menu by so much. No need to lie about your prices. Tl;dr - go here. Normally, this might have been a four stars. For me, that’s high. I liked everything but I save five stars for mind blowing. Here are some takeaways. Good food. Reasonably priced. Nice variety. Lovely cocktail menu. The place is quaint with its decorations though some are more interesting than others. Here’s what made this place really stand out. Update Aug '25: they have been consistently delivering delicious food since my original review. The thaali for Ganesh festival was particularly well done - couldn't find a single flaw. Had high expectations from this place, it met only a few of them. It had the vibe and lighting of a fine dining restaurant but unfortunately the taste didn't match up. Our favorite Indian restaurant in Seattle. They have wonderful dinner, but their brunch is wonderful and very different than what you are going to have elsewhere.
