These reviews really surprise me. I was 16 and pregnant when I was referred to Kravitz. I did not find her very pleasant at all. I had hyperemesis gravidarum and spent the entire pregnancy in and out of the hospital. A few highlights being when one of her interns Dr. Krushell told me I had to stop coming into the hospital to avoid the problems in my life, and another Dr. Bath wanted to hypnotize me to stop the constant vomiting. It is always such a pleasure to visit Dr. Kravitz. She's the most caring and friendly doctor I've ever met. She explains everything in detail and makes sure you're comfortable.
Had a referral sent in July to this doctor and never received an appointment date. Called to make an appointment then referred back to my GP. Tried to call again and NO out of office message, NO reception just a message telling emergency patients to go elsewhere??? Is this what it comes down to with the lack of Doctors in St. John's. I really don't think we deserve this. Being respectful works both ways.
Dr. Heidi Kravitz wasn't my following OBGYN however; she was present for my delivery on my second child. In my one and only encounter with her... I can say that I think she is a remarkable Dr and person. She was kind, compassionate, calm, understanding, complimented me on a positive birthing experience and was down to earth. She is very knowledgeable. I was very blessed to have her apart of my birth story. ❤
