We have been going to the farm yearly since 1997. Happy that it grew to what it is now. We would order lots of blueberry shortcake to freeze. It is also good that they have added more waffle makers so the waffle line is not that long as in the past years. However, the quality of the berries seem to have deteriorated. We did upick blueberries but most of them were bland or sour. The blueberries used in the shortcakes are generally sour. **Disappointing Experience Despite a Lovely Setting** The farm itself is undeniably scenic and charming — the live music adds a warm touch, and the waffles were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, our overall experience was overshadowed by a few serious issues that I hope the owners will take seriously. During our visit, my sister was stung by a wasp in the bathroom. Annemarie (my girlfriend) and I entered the establishment, and were greeted by not only one, but two enthusiastic Krause employees! Julie came in with a positive passion and essentially advised us that EVERYTHING was the best thing to purchase, as well as the Mexican corn! While we were talking to Julie, we noticed a well mannered lady walking up with an empty cart, shortly after, she introduced herself as Beverly!
