Two movers arrived with a U-Haul to move me from a 1-bedroom second-floor condo in North York to a house 30 minutes away. My condo was right above the moving bay. During the move, they damaged my $4,000 La-Z Boy cream couch, leaving chips in the wooden legs, a tear in the fabric, and dirt marks after placing dusty bed slats on it without using the protective bed bag I provided.
