These people are shockingly unprofessional. Patients come to a counseling center at their most vulnerable, expecting confidentiality, compassion, and help—not ridicule, humiliation, threats, or having deeply personal information used against them. Supervisors insulting patients and then laugh about confidential information disclosed during treatment is absolutely disgraceful. No matter how lost you are there is hope with KPCC.
KPCC is the best experience from the first phone call. When I called to schedule an appointment in December, I was asked what was happening. After the information was discussed with all the therapists, I was matched with the person that was most qualified to help me. Then, Jerica called me to get information and set up our first meeting. She has filled many different roles in our sessions thus far: therapist, listener, teacher, cheerleader, and encourager. I am blessed that she was paired with me.
