My basement toilet and shower were not draining and we started to see puddles of water, as well as some water under the vinyl flooring. Then we noticed water puddles around the toilet as well. So we thought the main drain was probably clogged. We called KP Drains in the morning at around 8 am, they got back to me in about 15 min, and told me they could get someone in between 11 - 1 pm. I would not use this drain company. They did damage to my brand new home. Then when I complained they turned it around on me and said I insulted the owners wife. Anytime I would mention damages to my home I was met with well what about my wife and what you said to her. Classic deflection. They finally agreed to pay for all the damages to my home that they caused but fought me every step of the way. It was a painful experience. We recently used KP drains to have several drains cleaned out, including our main sewer line at our home in Andover. I was very pleased with the quality of the service and customer care. Brandon was the technician sent out and he was extremely informative and explained what the process entailed. Moreover, he addressed all my questions and was very pleasant to work with. Had to come out twice to clear the same clog and charged me full price both times. When I told them that the line was still clogged, I was met with doubt and pushback. Bottom line - KP Drains didn’t adequately check the lines were clear the first time, which resulted in significant water damage to my basement. While they state there is a 90 day guarantee on their work, they did not stand by their work or honor this warranty for me (presumably because the clog had moved down the pipe a few feet). Super quick response time. Capable and pleasant technician explained the problem and cleared our clogged tub drains. Wonderful company to deal with!
