Tried for the first time tonight after reading all the good reviews and was not disappointed. Each dish we ordered was lovely and will definitely be a regular customer from now on and looking forward to try something else when we return.
Went to this street van in Ponteland last night Saturday at 6.30pm what a fabulous welcome light up van male man serving and taken the orders ery funny needs to be on the stage with a microphone 🎙 so fun living guy am thinking it was his wife cooking and son helping around the van. I am allergic to eggs and egg yolks couldn,t have the egg noodles with vegetables and sweet and sour sauce or had boiled rice instead and husband only wanted. Great tasting food and large portions. Very personable and friendly owners. Enjoyed talking to them while we waited for our food. Service was quick. Would definitely eat there again. I only gave 4 for atmosphere because it was cold (for us southerners)😆as it was a food truck.
This is the second occasion Kowloon Express has visited our village, Haydon Bridge and it has been a huge favourite attraction amongst our community. We ordered from a fabulous menu and guess what, it was on time and piping hot, the staff are welcoming and friendly, and omg the food is spectacular, we absolutely love it. Well done Kowloon and thank you for bringing together mess to our village, you are awesome, thanks very much. 😃
Put my order in at the van. With my order was salt and chilli chips.... They were fries, not chips. Soggy, greasy fries with dirty fryer bits on them. If you say chips on the menu then serve chips. I was expecting crispy chips to take the sauce. Yes, it was only a side dish, but it shouldnt matter if its a main, a side or a glass of water. If a customer is paying it should be spot on and to the description. Considering I had just worked a long shift and was so tired I was not coming back over to complain....
