Kowalski's in a word is fantastic. Great service, great food, and a really nice selection of Polish snacks, drinks, beer, etc. I went with my adult son and got sandwiches, some fabulous stuffed cabbage, wedding sausage, a couple of beers, and some sweets for the wife. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Kowalski's menu is very small, but what they do have is exceptional. Only downside is there is one small table inside and a few outside. Support Kowalski's, this is the kind of place we need more of.
This small family-owned deli is SO charming. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. I got to try samples of their delicious home-cooked Polish food and it was so good that I bought one of everything off the deli bar. They also have a ton of Polish beers, which I also bought one of almost every beer they had. I will be back here everytime I visit Charleston!!!
