It honestly sucks to have to write this as I have been a patient for well over a decade. Dr. K delivered my precious one-and-done. However, here it goes. The office seems to struggle to treat us as patients rather than numbers anymore. After trying all summer to get my annual, and continually being called to reschedule (the reschedule date always being a month out or longer), I have to switch doctors, as I'm now more than (3) months behind schedule. I’ve contacted the office twice about an extremely expensive bill I received for my visit. It’s from a lab that the office sent my test to. My insurance says it’s way overcharged but no one seems to be able to tell me what’s going on. Not happy at all
I’m looking to transfer to this office but want to make sure they don’t use the same lab as my current OBGYN. Does anyone know if there have been issues with billing here?
Dr. K’s office is wonderful. They get back to me promptly as an anxious pregnant person. Jenna and Kelly take great care to answer my questions. And Jen, who works as a phlebotomist Is one of my favorite people there because she takes great care And really connects With the patient. Before my current pregnancy, I had a miscarriage, and Jen cried with me, it made me feel very seen during a vulnerable time. No one returned my call when I called the answering service overnight in preterm labor. The lab drew bloodwork without looking at the orders missing a test that would have caught complications earlier. Dr. K came to do my sons circumcision late at night and when we asked for it to be done the next day he refused to do it at all and stated “he just won’t be circumcised then”. He raised his voice at me (one day postpartum and post c-section) and told me to “take my records and go somewhere else”.
