If I could give a zero I would. I had the exact same surgery 12 ish years ago, opposite side..I was up and about in a little over 2 weeks...I could barely get out of bed after 2 weeks this time. Took me a month to be able to walk around my block without serious pain. I had to almost beg for 2 weeks of pain medication so that I could acually get a full nights sleep, at this time I was still significantly swollen and feeling nauseous when I woke up. Met the Dr and staff today for a pre surgery. Dr Kotylak was so efficient, friendly, and informative about every question I had. The lady at the front was super friendly and kind. I don't think many people know how rushed and stressed doctors are in BC, and they have to keep up on all current literature, ontop of everything else they do. I wish every doctor I've met was as helpful and kind as Dr Kotylak.
Great surgeon highly recommend!!!
