I was referred to Dr. Edward Kotin years ago for PTSD and ongoing PTSD which mostly stemmed from an abusive situation that took years to get out of. Kidnapping, physical and mental abuse, sexaul abuse, parental alianation, abandonment issues, and so on. EMDR is the only thing that helped me cope. Yes, the wait is a bit but that is because they are very good at what they do. Yes, their office is on their homes property and is a little dingy, but if you can get past that, you will not regret it. I highly recommend Dr. Kotin.
Dr Kotin is an Angel. The work they do to help trauma victims is undeniable. Be patient. It takes time.

I called after being referred here by my child’s insurance to be told they won’t bill insurance and it will cost us a flat fee of $300. They need to remove themselves as in network providers if they are choosing not to work with the insurance companies. It’s a waste of time and feels a bit bait and switch to me.
