The rheumatologist here diagnosed me with a condition then when I asked a question to help understand she just said to "google it" rather than explain. She said this as she was walking to the door and stood there with the door open until I left. I had waited a long time for this 5 minute appointment that cost hundreds of dollars. I feel this approach to client care extremely unethical. A doctor telling a patient to google their health information instead of providing it during a paid appointment is honestly shocking.
Poor parking
Nothing but praise for the team here at Kotara Specialist Suites. My experience to date with Dr Aiden Cheung and the wonderful CDE team, I've had the pleasure of meetings with both Alison's, who as a great team have guided me well. My ‘specialist’ at this clinic said I didn’t have a condition I have now been diagnosed with. She didn’t examine me. My new specialist did. She said I needed a joint replacement. My new specialist said I don’t. She was dreadful and I will never recommend or see again.
The reception staff are pretty good with arranging appointments and offering earlier appointments if there’s been a cancellation and the wait time in reception isn’t bad at all either. Unfortunately consultations are not to a standard you would expect with a specialist; just in and out, a couple of questions, and not much depth to explanations or any display of an understanding (or even listening to) of the patient’s concerns, their questions, or what they have to say.
