I was with another local practice for 10 yrs. I'd advocate for myself as much as possible. I had multiple doctors insist I be checked for certain immune diseases that can contribute to my lung disease. About two years ago I wandered into Dr. B’s office broken and deflated. I had just been diagnosed with Oral Lichen Planus, an autoimmune disorder that manifests itself in the mouth as open wounds and is “incurable”. Dr. B sat with me and listened and started what I adore about him: he came up with a plan. A logical plan. My OLP is almost invisible and overall inflammation is down. Both my dentist and I are amazed! His warmth, optimism and enthusiasm has restored my faith in physicians.
