Dr. Poulikidis was very kind with his time explaining the procedure I needed to remove the cancer from my lung. He explained the options and the risks and used a very current protocol to remove the nodule. I was in the hospital for a day and a half and a week later, a little sore but the pathology indicated I am cancer free. He was very thorough and explained the operation, results and recovery fully.

Dr. Kostantinos Poulikidis and his team at JFK Advanced Lung and Airway Center are truly outstanding. I came to the ER in severe pain. My lung had collapsed and there was also a serious bleed. Dr Poulikidis inserted chest tubes to inflate the lung and performed surgery to address the bleed. His calm manner was reassuring. The problem was resolved and my recovery proceeded without any complications. I was grateful to have such a skilled surgeon available to help me through this crisis. His staff was also helpful, courteous and efficient.
