Excellent in listening to your needs and finding doctors in network to help with any of your problems. I call for refills and the staff can get it done within a day. Realizes that the patient knows their own body and what can work best for them individually
I found Dr. Bishop over 5 years ago. I am a diabetic and very resistant to insulin and oral meds. Dr. Bishop truly cared and took time getting me the right drug combo to be effective. My A1c has dropped about half of what my highest was. He treats me with kindness and respect. He has earned my loyalty and I am grateful for all his help.
Not a complete doctor, does not listen to his patients, he hears you but doesn't listen. Puts notes in your chart that are untrue, stated I drink alcohol, but haven't drank in years. Doesn't refill your prescriptions on time, you go without your meds for weeks. Avoid this Dr office. Maggots. Heard from another patient of his that he did the same thing to him
Listens, not dismissive, very friendly, takes time, approachable, takes the initiative to make referrals for issues out of his scope, makes sure mental health is okay or being addressed by a professional.
Always able to fit me in when I need to Make an appointment. Went through a couple of doctors before keeping him as my primary.
