I had a great experience at Korrect Optical off Dutchmans Lane. Doctor Summers made an eye exam easy and fun. Then Abigail helped me pick the best glasses. She listened to my style request while making sure that I picked the best pair for my face shape and vision needs. I highly recommend Korrect Optical to anyone needing an eye exam or new glasses. It's definitely a different experience than going to a big box store like Vision Works.

The Korrect optical office at McClellan VA is ran by an extremely unfriendly and condescending person. She has been there for years and has been that way every time I go there. She appears to feel that since the vet is getting the glasses free she doesn’t need to be polite or friendly. I will be going to the Mather VA from now on, even though it is farther away. i seriously doubt if Korrect cares about my complaint, or will address it. Horrible. I am a Veteran and sad that our VA system uses Korrect Optical. I had my eye exam Oct 2020. Picked out a pair of WOMEN'S glasses. It took several weeks to have them sent to NJ. I opened the box, excited, only to find a pair of MEN'S glasses and a paper talking about the glasses I wanted were back ordered. They sent me a replacement WITHOUT seeing if they were a fit or color I would want. The glasses are ugly and not what I choose. Yesterday, I submitted a complaint against Korrect Optical. I had an order for a pair of glasses which was a month old and could not get answers from anyone. Today, a representative from the company called me personally and explained - to my satisfaction - what had happened, and then made every effort, going above and beyond, to satisfy me. Over the years that Korrect Optical has been providing service for the P*** **** VA system, I have been their customer. Most of the time I have received excellent care except for this last Year. I continue to be in the problem, yet I have discovered the error that is being made. (Common). I also see it with the complaints here. I have 2 major issues that were not occurring before. 1. As a veteran I expected to get treated with some kind of respect......WRONG! When I questioned the price of sun glasses I was told that they would give me 50% off regular price. I ENDED UP PAYING $57....NOT EVEN PERSCRIPTION. THIS IS A RIP OFF FOR THIS COMPANY TO CHARGE VETERANS, OR ANYBODY FOR THAT MATTER THIS PRICE FOR SUNGLASSES!!!!!
