Doctor pushed me into immediate surgery for an Achilles tendon rupture, saying I wouldn't walk normally again if I didn't have surgery ASAP. At the initial appt, I began to relate how I had injured my ankle and the doctor held up his hand to stop me from speaking. First post-op appt after surgery was 18 days later, much longer than protocol for post-surgery.
