I had a fantastic experience with Kootenay Motors. When I called, they got me in right away for a quick drive and diagnosis. Just two days later, they booked me in, pinpointed the issue right away, and had it fixed within a few hours. I was back on the road the same day, and they really saved the day for me. Sadly they tried to take advantage of me when I was vulnerable- a solo female needing to get back home. Told me my front left brake pad was separating and that I would have to tow 7 hours back home if I didn’t get it fixed. Luckily my friend had a commercial mechanic in town take a look at it. He informed me that all pads were perfectly intact (front rotors were just glazed from hard down hill braking). Never made a bad review before but companies need to be held accountable.

only ever had positive experiences here. great service, trustworthy mechanics, knowledgeable, fair and reasonable pricing. would highly recommend them to all needing any mechanical work done to there vehicles.

Adrian is a super star. Saved our butts after porcupines ate our transmission lines. He put in the work and got us on the road in 2 days. Other shops were saying they wouldn’t get working on it until the following week. Would recommend!!

We were on vacation at Kokanee Creek PP. Our kiddos tried to pick the car lock with a stick to get to the sweets when we had our backs turned 🤦 Stick broke off and we couldn't get the piece out. Every place said they were too busy. Adrian, despite being busy, made time to have a look and fixed the issue in no time. Didn't even want to be paid for it. Thanks for saving our vacation!
