This hospital is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Do not come here. I took my husband here and I will never come back. He waited 7 hours to get an MRI and was in severe pain for a horribly herniated disc in his back for the third time in the last 2 years. When asked if he could get a discectomy the doctor smirked and almost laughed at my request saying “probably not” but we can start on a steroid. My doctor took me to the emergency room. She did not want me to go home. She was afraid of something rubber rupturing I have colitis. They didn’t even discuss the colitis with me. I hurt so bad it was. It wasn’t until today that I could even move or get off the couch hardly I’m really suffering and it was a waste of time to go to the emergency room as far as I’m concerned, my husband went there eight years ago and you sent him home and he died five hours later I don’t have much faith and need to start with. The staff was kind and helpful. They were able to have quick answers for test results. Thank God Kootenai Health has such a great ER staff.

Treated unprofessionally by the Physicians Assistant the entire visit to the ER. Seemed annoyed, left sitting in my bed unable to ask questions about my blood clots in the leg. When I asked if getting a CT scan was necessary, her sharp remark, "You can walk out againt my advice, but you will need to sign something". Before I could ask another question out she went.
