I was recommended this place for follow up care and was hung up twice. Very rude and discouraging and I advise anyone who has been recommended to not even wait your time.
Never in my entire life have I felt so uncomfortable and judged by a doctor. I was looking for a new primary care doctor since mine was no longer in network. Quite possibly the worst bedside manner, she was rude and argued that she didn't agree with the medication that I've been on for 13 years. She made me take a drug test in order to get my refill and treated me like some junkie. (Passed the test by the way) Will never ever return and I highly suggest anyone looking for a doctor to go elseware.
Very thorough, and understanding. Put me at ease. Asked relevant questions. I am very confident with her recommendations, and I wouldn't hesitate to see her again. Teleconference went well.
I moved to Arizona last July and I needed to find a new doctor. I had my first visit with Dr. Konuru earlier today. I have to say I don't understand all these negative reviews about the doctor and about her staff. Everyone there was incredibly kind and the doctor herself was very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. I have worked in healthcare for decades and I recognize excellence in physicians when I see it. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
DO NOT GO TO THIS AWFUL DOCTOR! Dr. Konuru is the rudest person I have ever met in the medical profession. She is unfriendly, condescending, insensitive, and refused to refill my thyroid medication. Dr. Konuru was my primary care physician at East Valley Family Medical for over a decade. Wow, Incredibly rude staff. Never saw the dictor (who by other reviews is no prize, either. I left.
This is no doctor. This person makes large amounts of money off of the misery of others and is, in part, the reason our healthcare system is in such disarray. Taking advantage of insurance companies as well as patients is the norm for Kathyayani as well as east valley medical.
She acted like she really cared and listened at the first visit, after that forget it, she doesn't listen, or care how you feel
