Kona Grill Denverv - The Best – I had a great experience at the Denver Kona Grill. My girlfriend and I had a nice evening out that included dinner at Kona Grill. Great Happy Hour Great happy hour 4 - 7 p.m. and with great drink specials and half-price appetizers. We love to sit outside on the patio with fire pit to keep you warm in the winter.
Passive Aggressive Service – What is going on w/ our younger generation? What's happening in high schools and colleges now? dreadful, dreadful, dreadful – we came from Boulder to shop and specifically eat at Kona. we were the first and only ones there when we ordered pizza and sushi ( 2 of us) they came out together, shrimp was tempura and COLD I asked the waiter who stated it was cold as they were waiting for pizza??(no way it was cooked today!) Isnt that his job to coordinate so both are hot? Talked to manager who came with liquor breath! pizza dough was commercial , not made fresh a great dissapointment!
Kona Grill Kona is located in the Cherry Creek Shopping Mall. Sit in the bar and enjoy a beautiful saltwater fish tank. Great outdoor patio when the weather is warm and a fire-pit for when the weather turns cooler. The sushi wave roll is fresh and fabulous. The oriental chicken is delicious and plentiful. Fun place to eat in a hip Cherry Creek setting.
OK happy hour prices, everything else about it is weak – The ONLY reason to come here is for the happy hour. You can get sake bombs and and mediocre sushi and/or pizza for reasonable prices. The outdoor patio is nice. The catch is that it's always crowded and not easy to get a table. Plus, it's crowded with $30K annual income, living off American Express, tool bags pre-gaming before they head down to some Lodo ultra-lounge. Poor service from beginning to end – I Valet parked at Cherry Creek Mall and was asked it I had ever parked there before (the young man had a very condescending attitude). I don't drive a Porsche but I valet park sometimes. I was meeting a friend, told the Hostess my name and my parties name, I was seated by the kitchen, there were lots of open table throughout the restaurant.
