It's okay.. – I'm not a really a very judgmental person. I would try the place more than ones to see if the way how I feel towards the place will change, but apparently, it did not. We went to Kona Grill three times already and none of those visits made me want to come back again and eat their food. The food was okay and the service was okay. I guess, that's all I can say.... But hey! they have cheap drinks especially for happy hours. so you might want to consider that... (:
Packed with Young People – If you are staying at the Westin and are bored, check this place out.I've never seen a mall's restaurant packed on a Thursday night after 9:00 PM. I'm not sure if these were mall workers friends or what. It had an atmosphere kind of like a cantina...people were having a good time.
Next... – Ok, I'm not one to write reviews, but in this case I just had to. Unless you are going to Chandler Kona Grill for happy hour, I do not recommend this place. The server was extremely lazy, care-free, rude, and by far the worst server I've ever had. My party asked for a refill on their drinks and she said I'll be right back with your drinks with a smile that looked like she was being put upon. Best sushi in town!! – Best sushi and great atmosphere! Great quality sushi at competitive prices (happy hour every day except for Sunday, half price select sushi, appetizers and drinks). This restaurant stands out among others and they’re open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. I highly recommend Kona Grill for sushi, drinks, happy hour selections, and their regular menu is also outstanding.
Good sushi – I think thy have the best sushi in Scottsdale. I know this is a chain but it's soooo good.
Decent Food is Available at this location – At this Kona Grill I went to with my family the food was pretty decent. My family has been here before but I never went so I decided to go with. We were all pretty hungry so we ordered a couple of appetizers kalamari and some Tuna Tartar. The Kalamari was very good and did not need to be dipped in the accompanying sauce, which was a little spicy but gave it that extra kick. The Tuna Tartar was, in my opinion, very strange. Kona Grill Denverv - The Best – I had a great experience at the Denver Kona Grill. My girlfriend and I had a nice evening out that included dinner at Kona Grill. I read some reviews on this site but was keeping an open mind and was very impressed. The service was great for starters, our sever was very pleasant and knowledgeable about their menu. Terrible Sushi...Good Happy Hour – They have $3 rolls...thats the only thing that allows me to eat them, because they are cheap during happy hour. Unfortunately they taste terrible. Lots of rice, very little of anything else. The wasabi isnt very good either. It is a fun atmosphere and i would recommend it for the drinks, but dont count on good food.
Has Taken A Fall – The Happy hour food is very good. Potstickers, eggrolls, sake bombs...mmmmm. The cocktailers are pretty good considering how busy it is, but weve had a couple of bad experiences with service, but who doesnt. We use to go there all the time for happy hour because of the cheap drinks, but lately with the Yardhouse opening up, we would just rather go there.
