Had a great time renting a boat from Blake. Was super easy and he told us all kinds of cool places to moor even though we spent most of our time by the Cook monument. Super awesome. Highly recommend was a highlight on our trip here to big island.
Had a wonderful time. Blake was great. We were able to fish and snorkel. Plus got to catch our own dinner!
Renting with Kona Boat Rentals was hands down the best decision we made on our trip. We had so much fun just the two of us, on our own boat, doing everything we wanted to do. There were no people or rushing, everything was at our own pace. Blake was awesome, he set us up with a great boat and fishing gear, and spent time with us going over fishing advice, snorkeling spots, and everything we needed to feel confident and safe out on the water. This is the number 1 activity to do on Big Island! I have rented boats from them every time I'm here, at least 10 times. You can scuba, snorkel, fish and have safe and full control of your own schedule. Guide are available as well. This is a family owned business and they're incredible people. The best times on the water.
Blake was amazing. He was patient took the time to show me exactly what I needed to know to make my group and my self feel comfortable out on the open water. The boat was clean reliable and perfect. took us about 45 minutes to get down the the captain hook cove. We had the boat for half of the day and it gave us plenty of time to see what we wanted to see on our schedule not some expensive charter boat.
