This is a great way to just get a sample of what Utah has to offer. you can simply drive up and get out and see God's handiwork on display. There is a restroom here at this parking lot and a trailhead to the overlook trail if you are up to a short easy hike.
You drive to the end of the Kolob Canyon drive for a .7 mile hike to beautiful views of the plateus and valleys. The hike is at least intermediate in rating, not wheelchair or stroller access. There are small rocks to navigate. The view is amazing! Took pictures of new friends from Canada and Europe! Currently open with no support staff due to the shutdown but there are places to donate funds as the State of Utah is keeping it open. Bathroom facilities were open and stocked.
Beautiful place
Visited October 20, 2024 October 20, 2024 Ashley and I drove up Kolob Canyon a 5 mile drive up to the overlook and drove back some. We stopped at different pull offs to see the different views in Zion National Park.
