We replaced three old single pane big picture windows in the front of our house with Kolbe windows. They are great - the Kolbe windows have significantly higher light transmissibility and much better thermal insulation. Elliot McDonell at their Seattle Showroom was great to work with and helped us to get the best product options including maintaining similar aesthetics for one of the replacements. I would thoroughly recommend Kolbe windows.
Elliot in sales and Chris (and son) in installation were trusted company to work with and supports in the entire process (which included the tricky navigation of building board approval combined with unique needs). Thank you Kolbe team for a project success. I now get to enjoy the beautiful fixture—a real focal point in my design!
Showroom is beautiful but Kolbe factory tolerances are trash. Absolutely atrocious build quality. I would recommend Anderson windows ten folds over this garbage. I've been building custom home for about 20 years in the PNW.
