Just wanted to give a shout-out to Ernesto, who commands his team like a five-star general but more importantly, gave us individual attention and was at all times courteous and helpful. This guy flies through home depot( Mt Vernon) parking lot and almost hits me, while in a marked crosswalk. Never stopped, wouldn't even make eye contact as he swerves around me at 20mph. Complete disregard for pedestrians. Absolutely wouldn't do business with someone who has such low morals. Happened on 6/27/25 2:10pm. Loaded my purchases in the truck. Drove around to confront him but driver and passenger had already entered through contractor entrance.
Kolas provides excellent work at a reasonable price. Have worked with them for exterior painting and drywall repairs.
AVOID at all costs! Ilia the customer POC estimated my FULL BATHROOM reno to take 3 weeks. That is to pull out everything to the studs and replace 3 weeks. Now my bathroom was not huge, I had ALL the materials on hand and it took SIX weeks. Illa OVER PROMISES and under delivers CONSISTENTLY. Had a terrible experience with Kolas as part of our HOA's paint cycle. They painted our shutters in the back the incorrect color despite communicating with them multiple times what color we wanted. Then they did a sloppy job sanding our door and there are now large ridges in the paint that look awful. Truly our house looked better before they started their work than it did when they finished. Would strongly recommend anyone thinking about hiring them to reconsider.
