This place is truly an amazing place I had a major emergency this weekend. My AFO broke and I am just getting ready to travel. The owner who I spoke w this morning was great. She is calling manufacturer seeing if they can get me a device in time. I got a call 30 minutes later from owner. She managed to get a new AFO there Thursday for me. So thankful....
I’ve been having hard time finding anyone good on this island for my prosthetic. Did long research, was either Oahu or mainland. My last hope on big island was this place. It is a great place but sometimes I get forgotten. Sometimes I’m sitting in the office making appointments just for referrals to get my sleeves and socks and liners. I do my part. They made for me a prosthetic above knee leg which could not be made to fit tight enough. So I got an adjustable socket from MartinBionics. Kokua would no longer help me since they couldn't make enough money and did not want the liability. Thanks a lot!
Staff went out of their way to solve a prescription issue I was having to expedite a new brace.
