If you insist on going... I go here whenever I'm too lazy to drive further for a better sushi restaurant. This restaurant has decent food with decent prices, but I wouldn't say particularly delicious nor satisfying. Go somewhere else if you want authentic japanese food. Satisfy those sushi cravings! FOR ALL THOSE SUSHI LOVERS THIS IS THE SPOT. There is always proper seating at most times with your option of a secluded box, open table or the bar. With the nicely designed menu with detailed pictures and the dishes briefly explained this makes ordering a snap. I personally begin with tempura the particular one with both prawns and vegetables. My new favorite Japanese restaurant I went there recently with family. I was not expecting too much since my cousin said "it was okay" when she went here before. When our order came out, I was impressed. I ordered a child's plate chicken teriyaki for my son and it was huge. It looked like it was for an adult. My cousin ordered chicken katsu for dinner and that had a good portions. The service was great and they were friendly. I would certainly go here again.
Possibly the best sushi I've ever had – I have been searching for good Japanese food since I moved away from Japantown, and this exceeded all my expectations. I'm no sushi connoisseur, so my range of sushi eating hasn't exceeded more than 5 or 6 different restaurants. But I have to say that this place has got to have the best sushi I have ever eaten. lunch special is excellent! I just discovered this place a few weeks ago and now it's me and my best friend's favorite place! We've already been there 4 times in 2.5 weeks! The lunch special is the best, you get a bowl of edamame and then you can pick from your choice of really inexpensive and filling lunches. I've never finished a full meal and the food is absolutely delicious!
The best sushi in the east/south bay! – This is by far the best sushi at the best prices around. They have innovative rolls like the really expenseive places but at a reasonable price. The fish is always fresh and the service is great. Definitely worth the drive.
