We contracted with David Khon to install a a somewhat complicated divider wall with door in our basement. David provided the best estimate, arrived to do the job the day he quoted and stayed with the job until it was finished. While I had a rough idea of what we wanted, David offered several practical suggestions which greatly improved the finished product. He is a real craftsman that knows his craft. The finished job is perfect and we could not be happier. Would recommend Khonstruction for any job.

I highly recommended Mr. Kohn. What a find! I am so thrilled to have found a contractor who calls when they say they are going to call and show up when they say they are going to show up. My bathroom is gorgeous thanks to Mr. Kohn! My bathroom was in shambles from a previous contractor who gutted it and the ran off with my deposit. Mr. Kohn came in and assessed the situation, fixed the shabby work done previously, reworked the tile design and installed all the plumbing fixtures to give me the bathroom that I had initally asked for. The Job:Install a 6 stair wooden oak banister.The Good:Strong and sturdy InstallThe Issues:$200 to clear coat. 1 coat was painted in 15 mins., handed me the can and told me to finish the rest of the coats myself.The glue for the spindles was oozing out from underneath.The wood was sanded once, and left rough to the touch feeling like splinters.The Call:My wife called the "office" to leave a message asking him to come back and finish. Great to work with...plain talking, straight shooter...and HELPFUL. He FIXED my plumbing issue that another "plumber" didn't or couldn't. He actually can/does "do that"...and RIGHT. He is also very responsive; I made ONE call...he made 3 visits and 2 calls to me. That's how to deliver customer satisfaction.
