On may 30th I went to the emergency Room upon getting there I was told I had to have emergency surgery. Dr. Boydston was my surgeon and let me tell you he LITERALLY saved my life. I am very pleased with his professionalism and he has great hospitality and explained everything very clearly , went for my second surgery today , again everything was explained from the second I walked through his doors . Incredibly skillful in both the clinic and OR. Dr Boydston listens actively and truly cares. He is approachable and does not rush his patients.
My husband Bob was diagnosed with cancer in July. All options reviewed, he underwent a radical prostatectomy with lymph node extraction. His surgery was a bit more "involved" as Bob is a larger man also with sleep apnea. We did look at other doctors who had more experience with patients my husband's size however, my husband was impressed with Dr. Boydston from the start. To compress this long story. Dr. Boydston is amazing. He gives explanations in plain language, being sure you understand what is going on. Then, he gives you real options, presented non-judgmentally, and really works with you, like you are a team working to solve any problems you have. If you aren't happy with the course you've chosen, he's fine with pivoting and finding what really works for you. It's so nice to have a doctor who doesn't have a plan of action set in his mind and who really lets you participate in your course of treatment. I wish I had ... read more
My husband sees Dr Boydston. He actually sits to talk with you, not like some who stand at the doorway with their hand on the doorknob as if they need to make a fast get-away. He is thorough; he goes through conditions and options and explains everything in a very understandable way. He is personable, patient and kind, pretty much what we want in a Dr.
