Had a wonderful experience at this clinic after a serious fall on concrete. The Dr and nursing staff were very knowledgeable and explained all the procedures. I didn’t have to wait long to get in and the office is in the beautiful Hapuna Beach Resort.
Pretty disappointing experience. I showed up in need of a stitch or two after I accidentally sent a diving knife into my thigh. It was not an emergency. Bleeding was under control but keeping the wound from reopening was an issue. I can say the resort staff that helped us with directions along the way were extremely helpful and kind, understanding I was seeking medical care. When my son cut his foot on some coral, we were welcomed in just minutes before closing time. The staff was excellent and stitched him right up. They even sent us off with supplies to clean/dress the wound and instruments to remove the sutures later. Our family comes from a healthcare background and were very impressed with the care provided. Care at this center was adequate! We were able to be seen and understood that most likely our visit would not be covered by insurance. However, we were charged for a Covid test that was not actually administered to my son. After TWO MONTHS of back and forth with them and their billing department they finally issued the refund. There was little apology and no explanation given as to why it took so long for the refund. The staff was kind when dealing with this matter but they seriously lacked in follow through.
