Best fishing trip of all time. Great staff, extremely nice people! Amazing chef, everything we ate was perfect. The boats were the nicest ones in Larsen bay and extremely comfortable. The captains/ fishing guides were extremely passionate and knowledgeable about everything to do with the area and the wildlife. Really cool village also. 10/10 best lodge in Kodiak possibly the world.
Fantastic 4 day fishing experience. Josh, Scott, Kathy and Alex worked their butts off to give us a fantastic week. Josh and Scott are extremely knowledgeable with combined over 40 years of experience fishing and living in Alaska. The boats were sharp and comfortable. We just completed our 5 night fishing experience at Kodiak Lodge in July of 2024. Josh and his team of professionals were first rate. From fishing with captain Scott to the wonderful food prepared daily in the kitchen by Alex the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We were with another couple seeking a top shelf Alaskan fishing experience. During our 4 days of fishing we caught over 200 pounds of fish. Any reviews before this year are irrelevant. New owner. I never got there. The new owner reneged on our agreement. Unfortunately after I bought nonrefundable tickets to Alaska. Fortunately before I bought nonrefundable tickets to the lodge. It takes two commercial small, expensive flights to get there.
