Knowledgeable landscaper and responsive. 4 stars because we had to replace a handful of arbor vitae several months after they were originally planted.
Disappointed! More than a handful of arbor vitae trees died shortly after Kodiak planted them. We reached out to Bob several times asking for replacements or even fertilizer and we were brushed off. The disappointing part was that the whole situation could have been avoided if he stopped after he hit rock when planting began. He planted over our former retaining wall and he didn’t advise us that trees shouldn’t be planted there and just went ahead. UPDATE [10/29/2024]: Since my first review (below) of the original driveway work that Kodiak did for us earlier this year, just wanted to add this update. We were so happy with their work that over the summer and fall we also had them back for a few other jobs. In early summer they came in for a couple of days to rip up an old concrete sidewalk in front of the house and put in a brand new one. We had a great landscaping experience with Kodiak! Bob was amazing to work with-he came up with a well thought out design and executed it perfectly. If anything didn’t go 100% perfectly, he fixed it immediately with no questions asked. I highly recommend Kodiak!
