I ordered the 300+ colony. They arrived 4 days after I bought them. They were packed perfectly, with wood shavings in an airtight container placed in a sturdy box, cushioned by newspaper on all sides. I was thrilled to see how many different life stages were already present, and that the beetles and larvae were still lively and healthy despite their long trip. Highly recommend getting your colonies from Ken! I have gotten two colonies now and both times they arrived quickly once they shipped (and he took great care to make sure they weren’t shipped out during bad weather and to keep me informed of the status!) and arrived in great condition! They are thriving at the moment and the numbers are multiplying rapidly! Will absolutely purchase more in the future!
